I'm not quite certain when I first stumbled upon Anke Weckmann's work. But this I do know....I love it. It's whimsical without being precious and has this amazing"Old World" folksy feel to it. 
Anke grew up in Hanover, Germany but now lives in London where her work can be seen in places like Newsweek, BUST and the Times. Lucky for us she also has a pretty great little Etsy shop where you can get adorable cards, prints, stickers and more with her lovely illustrations on them. Visit Anke at Etsy.
